About Us
Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers is an organization which was established Decades ago to conduct events related to engineering.
We are one of the most active societies in Thapar University, imparting knowledge about chemistry and technology involved in the science of chemistry.
We believe to promote the advancement of chemical engineering science and draw up a code of ethics in the profession. We also want to maintain and widen our contacts with chemical engineering professionals in India and abroad.

NEC was a National level conference where students interacted about Robotics, How Technology has changed over the past 20 years, Why Engineers prefer MBA, Challenges faced by youth etc. with the speakers and other guests.

"To learn is to grow with grace, to see is to believe with faith". We at IIChE conducted our much awaited orientation program - DIRECTION on 7th November,2020. The main aim of this orientation is to guide and help freshers that what it feels to live a 'college life'. The orientation program was filled with fun and frolic. A plethora of activities and discussions that gave freshers a delightful insight on campus life and aims of the society. By this we welcomed our freshers to the society and as truly said Together we learn, laugh and form bonds . The more energy you put into bonding, the harder is to break !!
WarTrade
A two day event which involved a lot of brainstorming and negotiation skills. Participants collaborated in teams of representative countries with a preassigned monetary budget and battled it out with other teams by boasting their superior firepower in terms of bombs and negotiation skills. Mr. Sanjay Gupta (Brand Ambassdor of TIET) being the special guest. The event was sponsored by Airmeet.com, Sharp Brain Classes, Give My Certificate and CollegeBros.
Chemileon
Chem-i-Leon was a virtual treasure hunt where teams competed against each other to win exciting prizes. The event was sponsored by GrabOn, GeeksforGeeks, repl.it, balsamiq and taskade.
